• Undertake Material Flow Assessments (MFA) of selected materials to assess recovery, reuse, recycling potential at country, regional, and city level
• Develop recommendations for industry and policy options for sustainable resource management based on material flow analysis
• Undertake opportunity identification, scoping and feasibility assessments for circular economy and industrial ecology initiatives.
• Assist industry and government agencies with the development implementation of circular economy opportunities
• Develop of circular economy, waste management and recycling strategies
• Provide project support with technical, strategic and policy advice
• Develop customised capacity building and trainings
• Undertake applied research, and author publications/scientific articles
• Undertake expert and academic reviews of circular economy and industrial ecology studies
• Promote international good practices and share their learnings

Project examples

• 2020-25: International expert to support implementation of Global Eco-Industrial Parks Programme (GEIPP), country projects in Colombia, Egypt, Indonesia, Moldova, Morocco, Peru, South Africa, Viet Nam. UNIDO.
• 2020-25: Development of eco-industrial park tools (e.g. EIP Concept Planning Tool, Master Plan EIP Review Tool, EIP Assessment Tool, EIP Policy Support Tool, Industrial Park Added Value Services Tool). UNIDO.
• 2024: Facilitation of resource efficiency and industrial synergy identification workshops with companies and administrations of Free Economic Zone Urgut and Small Industrial Zone Mechanic Fergana. Workshops undertaken as part of UNIDO's Eco-Industrial Parks Pilot Project in Uzbekistan (2024-2025).
